Art is one of the only industries that remains rooted in a brick & mortar model. Additionally, artists rarely profit from art auctions as they are often consignment sales from one collector to the next. Unibrow (a play on "high brow" and "low brow") is a platform created by artists that provides living artists the opportunity to put their work up for auction and collect 85% of the profits. The consumr project is a side project non-profit created by myself, Aryel Cianflone, and Marcos Minond. It started with the observation that finding information about the ethical behavior of companies is limited due to SEO and that it often requires digging to get to the truth. The consumr project is a platform where crowd-sourced information is plotted on a timeline and can be filtered by the issues you care about. Check it out here.
Domo / Senior UX Designer
This interactive data visualization piece for Super Bowl 50 used beacons to ping the crowd's phones and identify who were fans of each team. Fans had an opportunity to crowd the space outside the Moscone Center to "Own the Zone" to competitively demonstrate their fandom. The entire project was completed in a whirlwind of three months total in collaboration with Nick Randall (Sr. Software Engineer), Blaine Moss (Dev. Director), and Chris Willis (VP of UX).
Mixed Methods is a podcast created by Aryel Cianflone exploring the how's and why's of user experience research. It features industry experts like Jake Knapp, Elisabeth Churchill, and Tomer Sharon. I created the logo and manage all of the brand's visual content.

I had the privilege of laying out this book by Steven Heller, former Creative Director at the New York Times at my first job out of college. It was my dream come true and was completed under the creative direction of Stuart Rogers.

At J&J I worked on their licensed Band-Aids for kids. I'd often receive several gigabytes of existing assets and come up with multiple options for a licensor to choose from. Sometimes I'd receive almost no existing artwork with the charge to make something work out. J&J performs rigorous rounds of both qualitative testing via focus groups and quantitative testing using eye tracking software. It was intense and I loved the challenge as well as the finished products. These were all created under the creative direction of Neil Sadler.
This project tackled the idea of how to sell Listerine in economically depressed regions of Southeast Asia where mouthwash is luxury. This task required single-use bottles with very specific type requirements for the variety of languages. The shades of green used for the product as well as the label were also of utmost importance due to cultural context.
